Brow Lamination

Pre-Care:

  • Please do not do any hair removal (tweeze, wax, trim) 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Shower before your appointment. You are unable to get your brows wet for the next 48 hours after your appointment.

  • Please arrive makeup free and with clean brows.

  • Avoid skin treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels and spray tan on the face prior to the appointment.

Post-Care:

  • Do not apply makeup or other eye treatments for 24 hours after your appointment

  • Avoid swimming, steam, or excessive sweating for the next 24 hours.

  • Keep brows dry for at least 24 hours.

  • Avoid touching brows for at least 24 hours.

  • No tanning products should be used for 48 hours after your appointment.

  • Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat for 48 hours after the appointment.

  • Do not apply Retin-A, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours after the appointment.

  • It is recommended to use brow conditioner, or nourishing hair oil once a day to keep them moisturized in-between appointments.

Contraindication:

(Contraindication is a condition or factor that is a reason for a person to not receive particular treatment/procedure because it may harm the client.)

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Using any Vitamin A or Hydrocortisone products (must stop using 3 days prior)

  • Psoriasis/Eczema

  • Alopecia

  • Recent Permanent Make up (must wait 4 weeks)

  • Sunburn

  • Ultra-Sensitive Skin

  • Recent Anti-Wrinkle Injections or Fillers

  • Medications: Blood thinning, antibiotics (within the last 2 weeks)

  • Eyelift (must wait 4-6 months after the operation and a provide a letter from GP stating you are suitable for treatment)

  • No self-tanning products (must stop using 1 week prior)

  • Cuts/abrasions/inflammation/swelling

  • Herpes simplex/eye infections/ folliculitis

  • Roaccutane (within the last 12 months)

  • Excessive Allergies

  • Recent scar tissue

  • Trichotillomania

  • Blepharitis/Conjunctivitus

  • Haemophilia

  • Cancer
